That is a crazy catch....definately a monster. Very dangerous the release of that shark. You guys deserve to catch a bigger one for being aware of the well being of the shark..............great job guys

Absolutely mind boggling video demonstrating the power of a huge hammerhead shark vs one of the best big game reels (Shimano Tiagra 130) on the planet.I can't recall ever seeing a better video of a huge hammer stripping line off a modern day high tech collosal size reel.There are a few around of Penn Senators with much less drag capability getting worked and some getting smoked but none of any 130, be it Tiagra's,Penn International,Everol or otherwise,,,not by a hammerhead shark.There are videos of big modern day reels getting worked by Tuna,Marlin and Swordfish on youtube.
